Got this watch about a year ago, has not disappointed me since. Every night it updates itself to the atomic clock, so it's the most accurate watch I own. It looks rugged, feels very comfortable, and it's super light! As others have said, the negative display will take a bit of getting used to, but it's fine. The alarm is plenty loud, and you really can't complain about the plethora of other features in this watch.

The only complaint I have isn't about the watch itself but the bad reviews people are giving the watch because (it seems to me that) they don't let it charge fully... Please read the manual where it is written that some functions on the watch are disabled if the watch isn't charged fully, so it might not actually a be broken button, or a broken watch. I had to have mine in the window for about a WEEK after I got it before it charged fully. Exposed to direct sunlight it would probably take much less time, you'd just have to keep checking on it to make sure it's not overheating. Now everything works, and it hasn't come off the H (high charge) since.

Keep the watch exposed to bright light

The electricity generated by the solar cell of the watch is stored by a rechargeable battery. Leaving or using the watch where it is not exposed to light causes the battery to run down. Make sure the watch is exposed to light as much as possible.

- When you are not wearing the watch on your wrist, position the face so that it is pointed at a source of bright light.

- You should try to keep the watch outside of your sleeve as much as possible. Charging is reduced significantly if the face is covered only partially.

- The watch continues to operate, even when it is not exposed to light. Leaving the watch in the dark can cause the battery to run down, which will result in some watch functions to be disabled. If the battery goes to dead, you will have to re-configure the watch settings after recharging. To ensure normal watch operation, be sure to keep it exposed to light as much as possible.

My boyfriend loves this watch because he can wear it while he is working in the office, hunting, swimming, etc. It has a light so that you can tell what time it is at night. It also has an alarm to wake you and it resets the time during daylight savings time. I bought him a $600.00 diving watch and he told me to take it back and get this one. It is economical and does everything he needs.

I recived this watch for christmas. For the first two days, this was the best watch I'd ever owned. I loved all of the features and the style. After a few days, it stopped working. It would still show the time, but none of the buttons, including the backlight, would function. I hope they will refund my money.

This watch was great..... when it was working. It loved the military look of the watch, the large face and that it was not too heavy. After three months however, the buttons stopped working, including the light button. Due to the military specifications of the watch (i.e. minimal signature on the face), the light button is essential. After reading other reviews, I see others had issues with the buttons as well. I am trying to return this to the seller as I read the awful Casio customer service reviews.
