nice watch... the bracelet is a material that will not stain, which is a big problem in watches with white straps. sensational

Ultra stylish watch for under $100 bucks. Use it for work and when I go out. Very hip color and I get compliments on it all the time.

Positive Review:

The polish silver tone stainless steel really make this watch stand out and shine.this is a bold watch that make is statement when looked at on wrist.its an big watch also but its classy as well.nice nice nice watch!!!

> March 19, 2013
I actually bought this watch from Costco for $100 last year. When I saw it at that price I knew I just had to have it. I love watches; with a large collection, this is my 4th Invicta watch to date. It's not the largest (-faced) watch I own, but definitely the second heaviest (to another larger and heavier Invicta watch). Buy the watch, you won't regret it whether it's for yourself or as a gift for your husband/boyfriend/friend/brother/son/father.
A great watch to own.

> March 11, 2013
I own quite a few Invicta watches and for the price, this watch is very high quality, feels comfortable, and looks great. This is the best money I have spent on any watch. I highly recommend it if you do not have a Pro Diver already, pick this one up cheap.

Negative Review:

> March 18, 2013
The size is far larger than I thought it would be. It's a beautiful watch and my boyfriend loved it, but this watch is definitely made for bigger guys or guys who like really large watches. Wish they made a smaller version of this watch.

> March 14, 2013
2 weeks after I purchased this watch it stopped working, I have called Invicta's phone number supplied on the warranty book, and also went to their web site and had no luck getting any one to talk to about this problem.

Invicta Men's 8932 Pro Diver Collection Silver-Tone Watch

Positive Review:

> March 29, 2013
I bought this as a gift for a 13 year old young man. He absolutely loved it! His neighbor took off some links for him and he put it on immediately. Good value and quality. I have bought this before and I would buy this again .

> March 26, 2013
Very close to a Rolex . Very well made watch. And good for 600 feet deep in diving. Very good craftmenship. Want a good watch? Get this one. Don't order Casio . There made very cheaply now adays. I went through 3 of them. Very crappy watches. Stick with this one and pay a little more. It's worth it

> March 20, 2013
Wear this watch for work. Gains about 10 seconds per month. That's great!!! The face does not scratch either. Have hit it pretty hard a couple of times, no marks. Great watch, would definitely buy another one!

> March 19, 2013
Watch waterproof 200 meters, which is very powerful, after swimming wouldn't have to pick a table. The wrist size is very suitable for Oriental, black dial is composed, the atmosphere, full of charm. Loved it!

> March 3, 2013
This watch is an attractive perfectly-sized watch for me, i.e., not too big not too small. The only qualms I have about the watch is its description of a Pro Diver Watch. Since it does not have screw down crown, I believe it is not suitable for SCUBA and/or skin diving however it meets the needs for a muff diver perfectly. Lack of a screw down crown limits this rating to four-stars in my estimation.

Negative Review:

> March 14, 2013
While adjusting the date/time upon receipt I noticed that the watch I received did not have a screw-down crown as the same model purchased in 2010 had. To be sure I hadn't erroneously ordered the wrong model, I compared the model numbers on the cases of both watches, which were identical: 8932a.

I am highly active in both water and land sport and expect my favorite watch to survive the same set of conditions I survive. Watches are meant to be worn and I consider them as equipment and not fashion accessories, therefore I'm not overly worried about incidental damage. After a lifetime of experience destroying watches I've settled upon the following features as necessities:

-100m or more water resistance (I swim freestyle and anything less invariably leaks).
-Dark background with light colored hour markings and hands (improves low light visibility)
-Luminescent markings (for no light conditions)
-Rotating bezel for time keeping
-Date (and if available day)
-Metal case and band for durability (I don't enjoy having to find a replacement band that fits - especially early in a watches life)
-A hardened crystal comparable to sapphire

I have a Seiko sport 150 from the 90's that has all of these features and is still in working order with the following wear:

-Some of the metal markings are worn off on the bezel
-The luminescence is virtually non-existent
-Of course the battery has been replaced a few times
-The crystal is in remarkably good condition except for a minor scratch and a chip
-The band is still the original one, through I've had to replace a few pins
-The bezel works but is hard to turn

Now for the 2010 Invicta:
-Metal has very minor scratches
-I've repaired the band several times (I think the heaviness of the watch is to blame - but new pins are cheap and easy to fix)
-The luminescence still lasts entirely through the night, though dimly.
-The bezel works flawlessly (I especially like the luminescent mark on the bezel for marking time in no-light conditions).
-The time keeping has been perfect (losing 1 second every couple of months vs. my atomic clocks)
-The watch has never leaked - though once after a battery change (I have a watch repair kit and replacement gaskets) it would fogged up in the cold. I solved this within a day by leaving it with the case open overnight in a bag with some dry-rid)
-Recently the stem came out while adjusting the time (I was able to fix this miraculously, but this has never happened on my Seiko)

Overall: The Invicta has held up well, though not quite as well as the much older Seiko. It was however 1/4 of the cost of my Seiko. However, as the current model being sold as the 8932a does not have a screw-down crown, I would not take the risk with this model as waterproofness continues to be a key criterion in my decision making process at this price point, and so I returned the new version and went back to using the older one.

Citizen-BL5250-02L Men Watch

Citizen Men's BL5250-02L Eco-Drive Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Watch

Positive Review:

> March 12, 2013
TO temper my enthusiasm for this watch I must first state that I had a bit of a problem setting it. The watch comes with a tiny mini-novel printed in a font "6" which was terrible to read.... it also cam with a dvd, thank goodness. Once I got it set, it has kept very accurate time. I love this watch! It is easy to read, and nice to look at it. If you enjoy a great time-piece, this is one you wwill really enjoy.

> March 8, 2013
Ok some people complained about setting instructions on this thing.. must say they are a pain to find the correct ones. With that said here you go:

The Movement caliber # is E820

[ ... ]

With the above info you can setup this watch in under 5 mins.

Now that settings are covered about the watch. The watch is great, lightweight, with the right size of face. At night you can see the dial good with the luminescence.

Bottom line is with this watch after setting it up correctly, you'll never need a new battery OR have to change the date again in your lifetime!!!!!!

> March 6, 2013
I have had the watch about a week now and absolutely love it. The look and quality are impressive. The leather strap is comfortable and really shines. I do have a larger wrist and the case size looks good, not too small and not too big (a little bigger would be nicer for my size wrist, I'm 6'2", 226 lbs). I am on the 3rd hole in on the strap, which doesn't leave a lot of tail, but does work for me. The watch keeps perfect time, and I love the fact that I never again have to change a battery or adjust the date for 30 day (or Feb.) months. This is my first Citizen watch and so far so good. If it performs the way it has in the future, I would not hesitate to buy again.

Negative Review:

> March 4, 2013
I bought this watch about 4 years ago based soley on its looks. In many ways, it's quite impressive (attractive, titanium, solar-powered). But to me, it's more gadget than fine timepiece. This watch reminds me of the old digital watches with calculators. Maybe I'm a purist, but I expect setting and using a watch's function to be intuitive and familiar. I've given up on the other functions. Whatever you do, don't lose the instructions - you'll need them!

I'm not real impressed with the fit and finish either. The bezel is loose and shiny like chrome. I suspect it's plastic, but I'm not sure.

Many think highly of this watch, and in some ways, so do I. The Eco-Drive watches are technological marvels. Mine is still going strong. It keeps time and looks good -- just like my Iphone.

> March 4, 2013
This is a beautiful watch!
It arrived on time - and the time and date were set for my location.
There is a lot to be said for this watch, but it is not for me...
The different functions of the watch are set by pulling out and rotating the crown. Pull out one or two stops, then rotate.
This may work for people wearing their watch on the left wrist, but being a leftie, I wear my watches on the right wrist.
So: Working the crown is either awkward or impossible - without removing the watch.
I returned it and ordered another Citizen Eco-Drive product from Amazon.
Returning the watch was easy and I am happy with my new watch...

> March 3, 2013
I very much like the look and feel of the watch but the complexity of the operation is too much to deal with. I would buy if it simply provided the time and the date as well as the chrono features. I have returned it and purchased a different, less complicated watch.

Invicta-8926OB Men Watch

Invicta-8926OB Men Watch

Invicta Men's 8926OB Pro Diver Collection Coin-Edge Automatic Watch

Positive Review:

> March 20, 2013
There's not a lot to say that hasn't been said before. This watch obviously isn't a Rolex. Aside from the obvious and legally-obligatory cosmetic differences, there are subtle differences that devotees will still catch immediately.
I, like many others, bought this watch as a cheap, close alternative to the real thing. I have no desire to pass this off as a real Sub, and if I find myself in a situation that would allow me to own the real thing one day, I can appreciate the brand enough to drop the money for it, even with the understanding that the name carries a heavy load of the price.
My point is that one should have a clear perspective when looking at this watch. You can turn your nose up at it for being a cheap knock-off that gives the greater watch-seeking public an easy way out, or you can buy it and delude yourself into believing you are wearing a superior product because a $6,000 watch is ridiculous. Both are fair and happen all too frequently, but I propose a third option: wear it for what it is, acknowledge what you want it to be, and ultimately just keep your perspective clear. This is a good mechanical watch for $90. It's no Rolex 5513, but at this price, it's only abbot speed bump in saving for the real thing anyway.

> March 19, 2013
I've owned several Invicta watches before, but this one is by far the best. Although it's ostensibly identical to two of my previous ones, it's better made and more functional. First off, it kept perfect time for me from Day One. My earlier models required a few weeks of "settling in" before I could completely rely on them for accurate time, but this one did not need any such grace period.

Second, they made some sort of improvement to the date window so the number in it is now much easier to read. I can't tell if they changed the size of the numerals or boosted the magnification, but whatever they did is a terrific improvement. Very helpful for my middle-aged eyes!

Third, the rotating bezel turns much more easily and securely. I use this feature to time events throughout my work day and find it far more user-friendly than on previous Invicta watches.

Finally, the best detail yet is that when I'm setting the time on it, I can make the second hand come to a complete stop. I couldn't do this on any previous Invicta's, but finally I can do so with this one. This improvement allows me to synchronize the watch's time precisely with the time on my computer, on other watches, etc. I LOVE that!

I bought this watch to be a "backup" but it has quickly become my main, everyday timepiece. It's a gem!

> March 6, 2013
This watch is outstanding. I own some nicer pieces along with some affordable watches from Seiko, Timex, Casio, Etc. This Invicta and outstanding watch for the money, you cannot buy more for less.

Positives

- Seiko NH35A Automatic Movement. Which is hackable (meaning the second hand stops when adjusting the time), and can hand wind. Just unscrew the screw-down crown, and turn clock-wise to hand wind. Pull one more position to set the date, and one more to set the time.

- Crystal back case to view the 24 jewel movement

- 200 Meter Rating

- Quality feel of rotating bezel, not too easy to turn.

- Weighty feel of the watch

- Looks like a nice homage to the Rolex Submariner without being a complete fake.

- Looks amazing on a Nato strap.

Negatives:

- The finish on the lug ends isn't the best

- First watch sent by Amazon came in a nice large box, packaged perfectly, but the watch itself had some minor cosmetic defects. The 2nd watch Amazon sent as a replacement came in a smaller box, wasn't packaged well, but the watch itself was nearly flawless.

Conclusion:

I normally stick with Seiko or Casio in the affordable watch sector, but this Invicta is absolutely wonderful. Where can you get a NH35A Seiko Automatic Movement, with 200 meter rating, rotating bezel, screw down crown, and crystal case back for less than $90?

Negative Review:

> March 29, 2013
Watch is nice, unfortunately it gains about 10 minutes in a 24 hour period. A little bit of +/- is expected on an automatic watch, but that's beyond unacceptable. Thankfully Amazon has shipped me out another one overnight. I trust eventually I'll get one that works properly. Other than that, the watch is as nice as a knockoff sub can be. Looking forward to the replacement. Looking even more forward to the day I can stop being a broke ass and just getting the real version.

> March 14, 2013
I just received 8926 with the coin edge bezel today and it was defective right out of the box. The rotor neither spins freely nor completely around. If I spin the watch around while looking through the case back the rotor remains motionless. If I wrist snap the watch near my ear I can neither hear the rotor spinning nor do I feel it spinning.
I'm not that disappointed. I can't say I've ever had a great Invicta watch in my hands. Sometimes Invicta puts a watch together with the minimum amount of competency. Sometimes they can't be bothered to make a watch where the hands will stay on the dial or...where the rotor will spin as it was designed to do.

> March 12, 2013
Had this watch for 18mos before I dove with it on. First dive to 28' it flooded. Paid the $28 to ship back to Invicta warranty repair (apparently buying through Amazon extended the warranty to 5yrs). After 6 weeks they tell me the repair (fogging) isn't covered under warranty and will cost an additional $46.00. So I would have $74.00 in a repair that was supposedly under warranty on a watch that I paid $49.00 to begin with. I refused the repair and haven't heard back from Invicta nor do I have my watch.

18mos use good looking watch, if I hadn't gone diving it would still be working. Lost a little time but nothing major. You do the math, if you are looking for a "Folex" Submariner on the cheap and don't dive with it. I can't say don't buy it. But if you dive, avoid.

Invicta-9937 Men Watch

Invicta-9937 Men Watch

Invicta Men's 9937 Pro Diver Collection Coin-Edge Swiss Automatic Watch

Positive Review:

> March 20, 2013
This is a wonderful watch arrived one day earlier of the estimated. The pictures don't show the caliber of the watch and have screw down crown. I going put series of test. The first is this weekend diving to 50 meters. I hope that this watch is up for the test. Is more beautiful than my deep blue depth master watch. Well isn't a rolex but is a look alike and several thousand less. I like find 9937 in golden tone it would look great in my collection.

> March 15, 2013
I am very happy with my Invicta 9937. It looks as sharp in person as it does in the photos. It has a classic shape and profile, reminiscent of Rolex Deepsea. The size is perfect for my wrist, which means it is large enough to read and look nice without being ostentatious. It feels solidly built without little rattles or loose movements in the bracelet or clasp. It was not terribly difficult to remove the links in the bracelet myself, although it took me a few minutes to figure it out. It keeps good time and I haven’t had problems with it staying wound. I was surprised at the weight of the watch. It is much heavier than the Titanium Tissot that I had been wearing; so much so that the when I put my arm down the crown bit into my wrist enough to rub it raw for the first few days. I’ve built up a small callus by now and my wrist is no longer raw. So it is a non-issue now, but that first week it was really irritating. Also I wish the luminosity were brighter and lasted longer. It is fine initially in a pitch black closet, but in very dim light or near dark, it is just not bright enough for me. That being said, so far it is a very good watch; looking and feeling much more expensive than the $288 that I paid for it. I am pleased with this purchase and would definitely recomend it to others. I give it 4 stars, but after a longer experience with it, I may upgrade it to 5.

> March 10, 2013
I bought the 9937 Dec 2012 via Amazon.
With shipping to Canada, it came pretty close to 350$.

I didn't get the watch b/c I'm a fan of the "Rolex design" but it's got a swiss automatic movement and it's $300. Don't be naive and actually think the watch is worth $1400+ and you're getting a discount. It's just worth about $3-400. It's a marketing scheme.
Whenever I go into the sauna/steam room, I get complimented for the watch and they'd ask me if it's a real rolex (usually middle aged middle eastern men) I tell them it's not, but it's swiss and costs under $300. I can see that they're upset that they paid so much for their watch, but that's why they wear those watches.. for the brand name and to show their wealth/status.

I was hesitant whether or not to buy this b/c of the bad reviews of Invicta's QC and Customer service. I suppose it was a bit of a gamble.
I've heard such things as Jewels falling off, the illumination fading off, the bezel and the magnifying bubble not aligning, power reserve not holding up... etc.

So far, the watch works, it runs a little fast and gains about 1 min every 2~3 weeks. Hey, not bad for an automatic watch under $300 before tax/shipping.

I guess I got lucky and got one of the better pieces... or other people with 1star reviews just got the very few shitty ones that bypassed the QC.

Read the specs off of some other watch gurus... I'll give you what I notice with the watch I go in the mail.

Keeping it simple,

Accuracy: not bad... +1 min every 2~3 weeks. I correct it every 2-3 weeks, Not the end of the world folks...

Details and Fitting: no flaws found.120 clicks around the bezel, letters & etchings haven't rubbed off yet.

Illumination: very good. recharges very fast and I can read the damn thing in pitch dark.

Durability: very good. I've destroyed my previous automatic watch b/c it got banged up so many times, but with this, I don't have any problems. I'm in the army so I'm very active.. I work out/swim/go in the field with my watch and so far nothings wrong with the thing.

I don't dive more than 15m deep, but no leaks while I'm "diving", swimming, enjoying the steam room/sauna, in the field getting rained on.

Bracelet/Link: Once again, I wear this to the field all the time and it hasn't unbuckled, de-linked, broken, rusted, etc. on me.

In a nut shell, its a pretty solid watch for the price. If you buy it and there's a problem like some of the other folks, it's Amazon, just return it and order a new one.

Negative Review:

> March 27, 2013
I bought this watch which is similar to the model 8926OB but the difference is that this one is with Swiss mechanism instead of Japanese. Although the description mentions that the diameter of the dial is 42 mm, I found out that it is the same diameter exactly of the 8926OB which was described in Amazon having a diameter of 38 mm (very strange but this is not the first time that Amazon puts wrong information about the diameter of a dial of a watch I buy from them). Also awkwardly the packaging (the box and its contents) are very cheap comparing them again to the packaging of the 8926OB although this one has a premium price of $ 200 difference. As an overall the watch itself is better when it comes to the swiss mechanism and the thickness of the stainless steel band but I recommend for buyers buying this watch to go for the model 8926OB which is much much cheaper and the differences don't justify the 200 dollars difference.

Tissot Men's T17158652 PRC 200 Chronograph Watch

Positive Review:

> March 30, 2013
I own quite a few watches that range in price and quality, but this may be one of the best values in a Swiss made watch on the market today. It is a handsome, well-made watch. If you're looking for a really nice quartz watch at this price point, and with a chrono to boot, you cannot go wrong! I get as many nice remarks about this watch as I do my very pricey Swiss automatics.

> March 4, 2013
I bought a used one that said it was in 'like new' condition. There are ZERO scratches on this watch and it looks amazing. The size is perfect for my skinny wrists. It feels really high quality, like a $500-600 watch feels. It is a great addition to my collection, and I find myself wearing it more often than just dressy occasions. The band is gorgeous.

> March 1, 2013
Watch looks great in person. I was a little aprehensive about the watch bracelet since i usually dont like metal ones. But it works really well with the rest of the watch. I will probably buy this watch again with the white face. Im sure i will enjoy wearing that as well.

Negative Review:

> March 1, 2013
I have owned this watch for almost a year now. The watch looks very nice and feels elegant and solid, but the hands of the chronograph now stop at the eleven o'clock position. I have been very careful with the watch and I haven't dropped it or damaged it in any way. I called Amazon (since I was aware that that Tissot would not cover a watch purchased at Amazon) and I will have to mail the watch (and pay for the delivery!) and then wait for 4 to 6 weeks to get an answer! and the repair itself could take even longer. Very disappointed about the quality of the watch, since I didn't expect a 350 dollar watch to need repairs in less than a year. I'll keep you updated.

# Invicta-8926 Buyer Review

Invicta-8926 Men Watch

Invicta-8926 Men Watch

Invicta Men's 8926 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Watch

Positive Review:

> March 25, 2013
I am very pleased with this purchase.

The watch looks great. The 8926 shares the same basic concept as the Rolex Submariner 16610, if you're interested in comparing them. The glass back is very neat. This is my first automatic watch so it's cool to look at the movement in the back and to show others. The face has luminous marks and the hands have luminous marks as well. There is "INVICTA" engraved on the left side of the watch, but it is not too obvious and I don't think it's a big deal. I can't say I'm crazy about the cyclops for the date, but it is standard for the style. After a few years I may remove it (there are plenty of guides on youtube) but I'm not going to try anything now.

The construction feels solid. It has a good weight. The clasp is a little tough to undo at this point in time, but it should get easier. The same thing is the case with the bezel. It's very tough to rotate, but after a few revolutions I think I've made it a bit easier (or maybe just learned the best way to turn it). The crown is fairly easy to operate, although it took some practice finding the correct position for adjusting the date.

The movement is excellent as far as I can tell. When I bought it I thought it featured the Miyota movement, but indeed they have now begun putting a Seiko NH35A (still Japanese) in. There are a few differences between this movement and the Miyota that was previously in this watch. The Seiko is a hacking movement, and has bi-directional winding. It has 24 jewel bearings, but only two are visible through the back. I'm not sure what the power reserve is, but I've never had it die overnight.

My only complaint with this watch is it's very difficult to remove the pins on the band to resize it. With most watches it's possible to get them out with a hammer and thumbtack, but these wouldn't budge (and I was hitting them in the right direction). I'd highly recommend buying a band resize tool ($3) unless you have a very large wrist or want to pay a jeweler $10+.

> March 21, 2013
I love the watch, looks very classy and elegant, never had an automatic watch and its solid, a little heavier than my normal Seiko, but love it cause no need for batteries.

The positives are cool automatic features, so no batteries, the window behind is way too cool to see the moving parts.

Negatives is only that the straps when they click/connect, the connections are very stiff, you have to put lots of pressure to release it, so much so that I think its just cause its very new. The other negative is the magnifying feature for the date, the size is big enough, that is not needed.

The fact that its there, i can't look at the date number at an angle, has to be straight up, comparing to my Seiko, thats a little annoying but guess I have come to terms with it.

Just address those two issues and would make it a fantastic addition.

Adjustable strap is great, just a little tricky, but not rocket science, but its a solid watch that I love to wear now.

> March 4, 2013
This version is much better that the last INVICTA I bought. the face is pleasently large enough to look like a mans watch but not to big to be gaudy.
I love the autowind feature

Negative Review:

I have a defective Invicta $70 watch from World of Watches that leaked the first time it saw water. Invicta required that I not only pay to return the watch to them at the US address, but they also required that I pay a $28 fee to send the defective $70 watch overseas to be repaired. So now I'm $35 into a repair on a $70 watch. It's been 4 months now since I sent the watch and I still haven't received it back. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! I discourage everyone from ever buying an Invicta watch.

> March 19, 2013
You get what you pay for it arrived packaged well . Worked for about 15 seconds and was dead . Would not work with auto wind or hand winding it . Complete junk .!!! Returned ASAP

> March 5, 2013
My Invicta 8926 worked just fine and looked perfect for the first 9 months. I babied it. Then I noticed little things like the time needing to be adjusted a few minutes every week or so... not a big deal so I let it slide. BIG MISTAKE. Now my warranty has expired, the watch is gaining 27 minutes a week (consistently), and the price of repair is almost the cost of a new watch! Aside from a few minor scratches on the crystal it still looks new.

Learn my lesson, if the time is not being kept well, don't let it slide! Better yet, look at the number of low rankings on Invicta products and just save yourself a headache. My 13 y/o Bulova is coming back out of retirement.

I have the gold color as well, but this color I love even more because I believe rose gold is a feminine color. I love this watch I get compliments where ever I go.

Negative Review:

I read other reviews about it coming scratched and thought it was just people finding a reason to complain but sure enough mine came in and the rose gold on the face was scratched and so was the bracelet. Its a shame because it was a beautiful watch. Sent it back.

Tissot-PRC200 Men Watch

Tissot-PRC200 Men Watch

Tissot Men's T17151632 T-Sport PRC200 Watch

Positive Review:

> March 20, 2013
Really recomend this watch!! Its pretty much nice than it appears in the photos and looks like a really expensive watch!!. Its perfect for womans!!! I didn't expected that much!!!

> March 9, 2013
I wanted to write a review on this particular watch, the Tissot Men's T17151632 T-Sport PRC200, that provides a slightly different perspective than one usually finds reading watch reviews. That is to say, I write from the perspective of a general watch skeptic, not an enthusiast. My personality is such that I can rationally understand, but never emotionally appreciate, spending lots of money on, or building a collection of, something's whose primary functional purpose is largely approximated by a five-dollar timepiece. Basically, I regard watches as solely jewelry, an extravagance that still remains one of the few things the well-dressed man can accessorize with. So, when I bought this in November 2012, I was looking for a "one-stop" watch that would satisfy my personal criteria: Ideally, my choice would last me a long time (durability), display the time accurately, and be aesthetically "clean" (minimal). Since I bought this watch, in November 2012, I'm happy to report that it is completely satisfying all those expectations; I'm really glad I stepped it up from where my usual budget might be to purchase it.

I wanted to take the time to highlight the few facets of the watch I really appreciate, in order of their importance to me:

1. Its versatility.

When I bought this, I wanted something that would pair with both casual and dressy outfits. I was primarily concerned with the former, because that's the style of outfit I wear most. I find the rough, chocolate brown strap of the watch really dresses things down; it feels perfectly natural, for me at least, to wear this with blue jeans and sneakers. It avoids the problem with other gold and silver watches I had previously owned that I never really felt I could pair with casual outfits. However, I've found this watch also serves well when I want to dress things up a bit; I missed it at first perusal, but the watch glimmers well because of its large size and the highly polished, wider, stainless steel side. I find it's a nice balance; my watch isn't constantly glimmering in mine or others' faces, which can be fairly ostentatious, but seems to catch the eye once and then let things be.

2. Its easy to read.

I hadn't really appreciated this from the pictures, but I find reading this watch much easier than my previous, lower-quality ones. It's a combination of the relatively bigger face, and the brilliant addition of the sapphire crystal glass, which is amazingly clear. My silver Citizen's face, which I wear less often now, seems very hazy in comparison, and I realize now that combined with the closeness of the minutes hash marks on that watch, meant that truthfully I never much was using it for telling actual time. I find now that with my Tissot, I am pulling my iPhone out less often and relying on the watch more to figure out when I need to get somewhere, which is great, particularly when I don't want to be distracted.

3. The watch face is simple, and minimalist.

I find the separation of the chronograph faces, instead of the artful way other watches combine them, makes that functionality slightly easier to use. At least, I find myself using the chronograph functions more with this watch, but perhaps it's its other worthy qualities that are driving that. Still, I love the choice of the colors Tissot used for the watch hands, a pale gray green (which is strongly luminscent in the dark), and the tiny dash of red found in two of the chronograph's numbers, which mix well with the stark clean white of the background. That aesthetic appreciation might be wholly sentimental, and probably not generalizable, but still, I still find myself occasionally looking at the face from time to time, just admiring it.

4. Tissot is a mid-market company providing value.

I did a little research Googling through watch forums before buying this watch, to double check the reputation of Tissot. It pleased to me to find that Tissot was in general endorsed, with commenters saying it was a mid-market Swiss company, providing value by including a few of the embellishments of much higher-priced watches. In particular, the sapphire crystal face, which I love, seems to be something that is rare at the price point this watch is being sold at. What pleased me most was that Tissot was mid-market, which I find for most things is where I derive the most value; unlike cheaper Citizens and Fossils I have owned prior, I don't expect this watch to just stop ticking on me anytime soon. Another impression I got was that Tissot was relatively unknown, which I was also happy to hear, because it meant I wasn't being fleeced by a "fashion watch" or some like, which are often sold at much higher prices than the "intrinsic" value of their components. Finally, reassuring to me was the fact Tissot is a Swiss company; Swiss and Japanese watch companies seem particularly recommended for the quality of their timepieces.

5. The price.

I was pleased at the price (and discount) I bought this watch at, because as mentioned earlier, Tissot seems to include a few of the embellishments of much higher priced watches in their products. The price was not too much and not little; it was not too much, because it was well within of my budget of around $750, the price of the single most useful item I own (my iPad). It was not too little, because I've had too many problems with batteries dying and watches stopping with lower-priced "legitimate" manufacturers, like Citizen and Fossil; in addition, it wasn't excessively discounted, like the wares of certain manufacturer. (The question that comes up in my mind: "If they're lying about the RRP, a price that their watches never sell at, what are else are they lying about?")

The one con that comes to mind: Couldn't Tissot include some instructions on how to open the deployment strap in the casing? Its opening seems to frustrate alot of people, including myself at the beginning. Some instructions or a video on their website would go a long way to alleviate those frustrations.

My verdict: I love this watch, and give it my most enthusiastic recommendation.

> March 1, 2013
I am pleased with this purchase. It is a good price for a darn nice looking watch. It looks better on my wrist than the pictures when I ordered. Other on-line watch purchases have dissappointed when it arrives but not this one. It's solid, handsome, sturdy. This is my first watch with the clasp style band and I like it.
Pro: face easy to read, glow in the dark hands, band connector, screw down main pin.
Con: perhaps a little heavy and thick for some (fine for me)

Timex Men's T20461 Easy Reader Silver-Tone Expansion Band Watch

Positive Review:

> March 31, 2013
I've had several of these and I ride them hard! Nice to have day + date and the Indiglo light helps in the middle of the night for finding the toilet in a dark room... Nice price too!

> March 22, 2013
Very sturdy and reasonably accurate watch. One of my all time favorites. The face design is crisp and I like the red 24 hr. marks. This is my third one since they started making them like this back in the 80's. They only last about 4-5 years, but they are 40 bucks. ( I think my first one was $12).

Pros: Tough, Cheap, Reliable, Legible.Push button night light (briight), 24 hr indicators, date, comfortable.

Cons: Date is not month-aware, you have to set it back if the month has < 30 days, Second hand is low-contrast and almost invisible.

> March 1, 2013
Money was not an issue in selecting this watch. I shopped online and in several stores. This was the perfect size (moderate), not very heavy or thick analog watch with easy to read numbers, day and date. Love my iPhone, iPad, AirBook laptop but for telling time, this still seems the best for me. The face even lights up at night or in dark restaurants. Had to purchase a larger band for my pudgy wrist, but still less than $50 all in and still 4 to 10 times LESS than anything else that came close to my "specs." Great bargain and a great watch.

Negative Review:

> March 15, 2013
The Silver Tone Expansion band that comes with this watch is way too small for a number of men who may order this watch; the customer who finds the wrist band too small is faced with the problem of having to return the item to Amazon, which does neither Amazon or the customer any good, or going thru the extra expense of purchasing a larger wrist band locally, which is unfair to the customer.

Omega Men's 3570.50.00 Speedmaster Professional Mechanical Chronograph Watch

Positive Review:

> March 19, 2013
I see some comments questioning the reliability of the Omega Speedmaster. I have many old watches that still run and they have never needed service and still keep time. My Omega Speedmaster Pro with the hesalite crystal is about 13 years old. I only wear it for special outings or when traveling. I have never serviced the watch or any others that I have owned. I know some say this will ruin a good watch. Yet, I have a pocket watch from the 1920's, a Westclox from my Air Force days bought in 1965 and wore every day for five years, and a Marshall pocket watch from the 1950's. I gave away a few other inexpensive watches to relatives during my life as well. My everyday watch today is a Citizen Eco-Drive and am on my second after the first one failed after 8 years or so. Every one of these watches still keep time, even the cheap Westclox that I paid about $10 dollars for years ago at a base exchange store. Maybe it's because I don't run them every day but I heard that was also bad for a watch. In any case, I love my Omega and I'm pretty sure it will outlast me without service.

Women's Stainless Steel Case and Bracelet Quartz Chronograph Mother of Pearl Dial

Positive Review:

> February 16, 2013
I'll begin by mentioining that I'm a watch fan, so I think that when I say that this is a very nice watch I have a good sense of saying so.

The photos are ok but the watch in real life is far much bette looking, the mother of pearl dial is shinny with several color shades.

It is kind of big, but not so much, if you have small wrists you won't look like wearing a men watch, and if you have normal ones, you will see, size is just perfect.

> February 11, 2013
I love this watch! It is not a big as some MK watches but it is classsic for everyday wear and for night time as well. Perfect gift for yourself or if you are a guy and want to make your girl smile! go for it

I bought this watch back in november and it was the worse purchase of all my life... it broke without reason. I think it was a very good imitation of MK Kors from China. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER!!!!!!

I love fossil brand, and cant resist their products.
First time I saw this watch, it was looking so good. I recalled my history with old fossil watch
I bought 5 years ago "when minutes index fell of its place", I though it wont happen again. But
I was wrong. The only problem with this watch is that its index will fall and get un-attached from
its fit place :(

Citizen Men's BL8000-54L Eco-Drive Calibre 8700 Perpetual Calendar Watch

Positive Review:

> February 27, 2013
I don't know much about watches, but my fiance had been talking about this for a long time now. His birthday came up so I decided to order it for him. It arrived a week earlier than it was suppose to which is awesome and I couldn't wait to give it to him so I gave it to him early. He opened it and all I heard for the next 5 minutes was "Oh my god, it's so sexy. Oh my god, it's so sexy." Haha. I am very happy I purchased this watch. He hasn't even taken it out of the house yet, but had to call his mom and brag about it! Haha.

The watch itself is a little complicated, but thank god they send a step by step DVD disc that explains how to set everything. Also the links on the watch were extra big, but no big deal. Were gonna bring it to our jeweler to get that fixed so he can wear it this weekend. :)

> February 16, 2013
I recently had left my watch at the gym. I went back to get it or to see if someone had turned it in, but I was unable to recover it. I used it as an everyday watch because the battery never runs out and I never had to worry about setting it or adjusting for Daylight Saving Time. It was my perfect watch so I bought the exact same model that I was used to in order to replace the one I had lost. It is very convenient and practical because once you set it for the very first time, you never have to worry about it for the rest of your life. A wonderfully built piece of craftsmanship!!

> February 1, 2013
I bought this watch last summer on a cruise ship and then unfortunately it got lost. There wasn't even a question in my mind to buy it again. Its absolutely the best watch I've ever owned. Keeps great time - I didn't have to adjust it once. The perpetual calendar feature is great...no more fiddling around to get the date right at the end of the 30 or 28 day months. The local time function is awesome on trips and it makes coming back home a breeze. And the look is fantastic too. Great size and I love the dark navy/silver look on the face. I couldn't recommend this watch enough.

Negative Review:

> February 24, 2013
I love the idea of a watch that doesn't need batteries and uses light for charging, but these watches just aren't reliable. I bought an expensive titanium EcoDrive and after 6 years it needed an entirely new movement, for $90 to $180 cost, depending on who did the work. By comparison, I have a Seiko solar that is 12 years old and runs like a watch. If you check the web, you'll find that these EcoDrive watches actually do have a battery, which they just renamed a 'power cell' that is what stores the charge, and they also go bad, so don't think this watch won't need repair. I would caution anyone about sending Citizen watches to Hurley Roberts for repair, they wanted twice as much as sending directly to Citizen.

> February 3, 2013
It's a very nice watch and I've been using it for more than 3 years now. I bought it from Kohls when they had a 30% coupon, so I got it for around $200 after all the discounts and cash backs. It has been running perfectly ever since. The blue dial is darker than pictured and is almost black, but looks great.

Now the problem. It's a scratch magnet. The dial window is supposed to be a hardened mineral, but it looks like acrylic after 3 years of use. It has lot of scratches all over it. May be I use it rough, but my 4 year old Skagen that cost me $50 does not have even a single scratch on the glass! For a $300 watch, I would expect a sapphire window or at least a harder material.

2 stars for the movement. -3 for the materials.

# Casio-G100-1BV Watch Review

Casio-G100-1BV Men Watch

Casio-G100-1BV Men Watch

Casio Men's G100-1BV G-Shock Classic Ana-Digi Watch

Positive Review:

> February 24, 2013
I love this watch, and I'll keep this short. Modes includes a stop watch, alarm, military and regular time, as well as the date on the digital display which can be backlit. The minute and hours hands are coated in a glow in the dark material too.

I love that there is a raised up rubberized border that protects the watch face. You cant scratch this thing by regular wear as far as I can tell. This means you could even wear the watch upside down if that's your thing and you would never have to worry about scratching up the face when resting your arm on a table or something.

People complain about the placement of the digital display and the minute and hour hands blocking the digital time, but that's a very stupid complaint if you stop to think about what a clock is: there will always be a window of time when the display is obstructed by one or both hands.

I like how how this watch is feature rich, yet looks pretty low-profile too. I was worried about the red text bothering me but I actually like it.

The watch is not too big at all, I'd say a medium size, and is very light. As a matter of fact, for the most part I haven't taken it off since I got it. I can fall asleep with it on my wrist and not notice.

There is a graphic-type image that you might not be able to see in the photos that occupies the black space above the digital display. I'm convinced that it has no purpose and I think the watch would look a lot nicer without it but it is certainly not something that will distract you unless you really look for it. It's not enough of a gripe to consider a different watch IMHO.

Design + features = success. This is the G-Shock to get on the cheaper end of the spectrum.

> February 22, 2013
I have two other watches. A stainless steel Bulova and a leather strapped Movado Bold. Both tend to be more luxury, special occasion wear rather than casual, everyday wear although I am getting the Movado out more often. So, I was in the market for a functional, comfortable, durable, casual and good looking watch I could wear everyday. This Casio G-Shock fits the bill.

Out of my three watches, the G-Shock is the best in terms of comfort and fit. It's not heavy on your wrist, and the fit is just right where the watch is not too tight and not too loose. For me, that is having the watch strap at 6 notches. The plastic resin material that most of the watch is made of is smooth and very flexible so the watch can adjust to your movements.

I really like the blend of analog and digital on the display. It's a nice look, and the digital display also serves other purposes in fulfilling the alarm, stopwatch, and date functions as well as time. The analog hands are synchronized with the digital numbers so when it's 4:15 on the digital display, the hands will also show 4:15
In terms of functionality, everything works, but you will probably have to look at the instruction manual at least once to figure it out. After that, using the functions of the watch is easy.
I don't worry about the watch in terms of durability because it is G-Shock. Water resistant to 200 meters and obviously built to withstand shocks to the casing of the watch.

The overall size of the watch and its face are small, and this is good for me because I do prefer small and medium watches rather than large ones. A small con is that at times, the analog hands will partly block the digital display. But I don't see this as a big deal because you can still tell what the time is.

I would recommend this watch!

> February 7, 2013
Initially I was looking to purchase a Luminox navy seal dive watch but I refrained because of its price. The main thing that attracted me towards the Luminox watch was its durability. I wanted to purchase a watch that could withstand the risks of day to day wear in all conditions (outdoors, exercising, everything). I am thoroughly impressed with this product.

1) Super light weight. I was concerned at first because I thought it would be bulky and heavy. It is surprisingly light and has a very solid feel to it. The band is very comfortable and strong. I've sweated in this thing several times and it does not leave a nasty smell like the leather bands.
2) Looks good. I can wear this while working out, going downtown, with any business casual attire. It is CLEAN! I have gotten numerous comments about it too.
3) Durable. I have already banged it into desk corners, door jams. It has been with me during drunken nights. I can be pretty wreckless with it and not have to worry about damage. (this is super important...if I bought the Luminox watch, I would be super protective about it not because of questionable durability, but because I spent a ton of money on it).
4) Easy to use. Setting the time, adjusting time zones. Super easy.

Potential problem areas:
1) Setting the time requires you to hold a button down and it only moves in one direction. It takes a little while longer to set the time initially but in my opinion it is not a big deal at all. (maybe like another minute or two of your time max).
2) Because this is primarily an analog watch, it does obstruct the digital aspect of the watch at certain times. Not a big deal to me because you can still read it if you tilt the watch a certain direction. If your really invested in using the stopwatch, another timezone, or anything related to the digital function, I would recommend purchasing a DIGITAL watch.

Negative Review:

> February 24, 2013
This is my first Casio watch, which I bought as a casual sports watch. Being a runner, I am not to happy with the small display area for the Stop Watch function, which is hard to see at times when the hour and minutes hands are between the 4 and 8 positions. This is also the same problem I get when trying to use the night light function to check time when it is dark.

> February 8, 2013
The two biggest problems I have with this watch are the lack of a second hand, you do get a second readout in the digital display but I find this almost useless. Also if you shine a flashlight on the each face it is readable in dark but after a short time it is no longer readable which is very bad for me so I very rarely ware this watch at night.

> February 7, 2013
I loved the watch but it looks ridiculously small on my wrist that I had to give it to my son gladly. After measuring the dial I found out that it measures 29 mm and not 44 as advertised on Amazon. What a dissapointment for me and a delight for my son.

I purchased this watch for my husband for Valentine's Day and he absolutely loved it!!! It is a beautiful watch for the value. Very sturdy and masculine! I would definitely recommend this watch for purchase!

> February 9, 2013
This is a nice watch. It is easy to read, even in the dark. The luminescence keeps going all night.

It gains 5 seconds per month. That will never be an issue for me, since that translates to only one minute a year and I will have to reset it anyway, twice a year, when the time changes.

This watch is bold. It looks a lot more expensive than it is. I would have given it 5 stars if it kept time as well as my other watches.

Looks dope, but I mean the size is ridiculous. I was going for something a little more flashy than my previous watch, but come on I'm not 2 Chainz this thing is way too fat for people who aren't trying to compensate for something else.
