Citizen Men's BL8000-54L Eco-Drive Calibre 8700 Perpetual Calendar Watch

Positive Review:

> January 22, 2013
Although the watch looked slightly different than what I thought it would (the face of the watch is a lot darker than the blue on the picture - it's almost black) this watch is pretty much as good as advertised. It keeps perfect time, is easy to set the time and date (unlike the g-shock g-1200B that my wife bought me) and looks great. It's also a lot lighter than I expected. Couldn't be happier.

> January 10, 2013
This is a beautiful timepiece. I received this watch last week and other than to swap out the watchband to a black-grey-blue striped NATO strap it has not left my wrist. This is my second Eco-Drive watch and I hope this one serves me as long as my first, which is currently being sent to citizen for a new crystal after 6 years of nearly daily wear. After one week's time since unboxing it is still keeping time to the second based against the US Official Time website.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the purchase; however I will offer one word of caution: the watch dial is a darker blue than it looks in the picture. It is overall closer to the slate blue pictured in the center of the dial than the lighter blue pictured in the ring of numerals. This does not bother me, but it might bother someone looking for a brighter blue watch face.

Bought a Citizen Eco watch at Sams. Only kept it a couple weeks. Complicated, hard to use, had to get the instructions out just to reset the time, and I hated it. The date is so small, I needed a magnifying glass to read it. The only thing that kept it from going in the garbage is that my daughter was visiting and I gave it to her for my son in law. He has a Timex. He tried the Citizen for a few days, but since then I see he is wearing the old Timex. He said he didn't like the Citizen either. Guess I wasted my money

I bought this watche and i hate it.I spent 356 dollars in a watche very small and the collor that i have choosen is diferent than the main pictures shows. The dial is not blue, it is very very dark blue and seems to be black.Iam very disapointed with this model!!!

Casio Men's G100-1BV G-Shock Classic Ana-Digi Watch

Positive Review:

> January 25, 2013
I ordered this watch because I wanted an everyday casual watch with analog hands and stopwatch funtion without being overly large like a lot of watches these days. The G100-1BV is just that. Overall I'm very pleased but will note 2 things. One, I'm a fairly big guy, 6' and 200lbs and my wrist measures 8" around. The band is long enough but if you're much larger than 8" around the wrist, the band will not be long enough. Second, the reverse LCD is not easy to see in dim light but the illumination function works well. Also as noted in other reviews, the hands obscure the digital display pretty easily.

> January 16, 2013
i own very expensive watches, which i cannot use cause they are either too shiny, too heavy or i have to baby around. this is my second casio. the other one finally broke after wearing it 24-7. reason why i prefer this watch over any (cheaper or more expensive) is

   1) i dont have to baby it around, yes. i work, shower, exercise, teach and go to school with it.
   2) its very plain. i dont need 3 gauges and so much crap and clutter expensive watches have. just DATE, LIGHT N TIME.
   3) its formal looking enough for me to teach, and casual enough for sports, therefore i dont have to own but one for all my busy life.
   4) its not old fashioned looking. yes i cannot wear an old looking watch. this looks young enough but formal enough.
in conclusion, it was hard to find the perfect watch for me as i dont like clutter in the dial, i need a light every day and i love plain but tough looking watches.
this is the perfect watch for an active, sports and executive person. the price cant be beat. but I MUST SAY i would pay twice as much.
love my casio, its like a faithful dog, just feed it...! it will go everywhere with you...! soo cool it dont have a seconds hand, which i dont need...!

> January 13, 2013
I got this watch for my husband who works for the local water company and is always in water. He has had this watch before and loves it but after 6 years the band broke and instead of a new band I thought a new watch even though the old one still works great, I will probably replace the band on the old so he has two. It's a great hardy watch that lasts even through hard work abuse.

Negative Review:

> January 17, 2013
Its just OK for a beater. Small and hard to read. Hard to set the time and digi display. C-

> January 14, 2013
if you are a doctor , this is not the switable watch becouse there is no Second hand which well make it deficult to count the pulse rate for example, offcaurse it has a digital one but it is very hard to see the numbers , you have every time to press the light button

> January 10, 2013
As a lot of other reviews said, the minute hand blocks a good bit of the digital part. The glow in the dark on the arms is very weak, even after having it in the sun all day. I have skinny wrists and the band does not allow much slack. I like the size of the face, perfect for people with small wrists. I will wear it for a couple years, just to get my moneys worth and then look for a new one. Don't get me wrong, its a good knock around watch if you don't want to damage a nice one you have yet still wear a decent looking watch.

Invicta Men's 6977 Pro Diver Collection Chronograph Black Dial Black Polyurethane Watch

Positive Review:

> January 10, 2013
I was a bit skeptical of the size and weight after trying two different Invicta watches on. Many of the Invicta chronograph watches I considered weighed over a pound, The Model 6977 shipped at 1.5 lbs. If you go to Invicta dot com you can download a PDF printout that shows the actually size of the watch. 48mm case diameter and 17mm thickness is a really big watch by comparison to what I have worn in the past. Despite my concern it was easy adjust to the weight and size. I particularly wanted a band that buckets so it would still fit when I wear a wet suit. After considering other models with colored faces, the black seems easier to read than blue or the lighter colors. The rotating bezel is a feature I wanted for timing dives. The MSRP on Invicta watches is definitely expensive for my wallet but Amazon offers a sensible price. The look and feel of the Invicta 6977 Pro Diver watch is class and quality. If you are considering an Invicta don't let the size and weight scare you away. It's a quick and easy adjustment. I've had my watch a week and the only reason I take it off is to feel its quality and look at the engraved information on the back.

I have received this as a gift from my in-laws. It was shocking and embarrassing to find that the letter 'I' was missing from the name right under the 12 o'clock mark.

We have returned it, but it was an uncomfortable incident really.

I have uploaded the image for verification. Please check in the image gallery.

Positive Review:

I really like the look and feel of this watch, it does take a long time to charge even in direct sun, but seems to hold charge for a long long time. Tide function is hard to understand and must read up on moon phase graffic, also readout is hard to read and light could be brighter, but these are minimal issues, would buy again. I do recomend replacing the band, i installed 'the band', wide nylon, also available here and it looks and feels much better and totally wearable long term.Thanks.

I have a couple of g shock watches and generally like them. Then I purchased this one and it worked fine for two years. Then one day the buttons stopped responding ... nothing happened when I pushed any of the buttons. This watch is sturdy and will withstand all sorts of things.... except work properly for more then two years. I contaced Casio repairs, they said I would have to pay for the repairs and the cost if shipping... way to stand by your product! Very disappointed with Casio/gshock. I will no longer be buying any Casio watches.

Positive Review:

> January 28, 2013
I love this watch. I own several movados and one Rolex. This invicta is my everyday watch. It looks great feels great and keeps great time. I don't know why people leave such terrible reviews about this watch. I assume most people think they are getting a Rolex for 70$. I promise you after you spend the 8k for a Rolex you will not want to wear it everyday. A nice watch is expensive between 800$ and 1200$. When you get this watch understand you did not pay 800$ for it. However the weight and shine will make you think that you purchased a high end quality watch. You won't be timing race cars but you will be getting digits at the bar. Couple this "beater" with a nice button down white shirt, nice jeans and clean shoes and you can enter any place and get a few looks.

> January 19, 2013
This watch is more beautiful than pictured and it has the feel of a very expensive watch, weight and all. It works absolutely perfect. I highly recomend this watch and any other invicta watch to any guy that wants a classy watch that does'nt break the bank. These watches are definitly worth the suggested retail. I know that these watches are reduced because they are last years models, but who's going to know the difference when you're showing it off. I am well satisfied.

Negative Review:

> January 19, 2013
I have Purchased and received 2 peices of this watch and I can say that this is the worst thing I've ever ordered in my life.

the watch it self looks good, but it is not working properly, and always either ahead or later than the actual time, no matter how many times I had it readjusted.

I strongly do NOT recommend anybody to buy this thing as it is a waste of money and time.

> January 11, 2013
I was really disappointed when I opened my new Invicta 9212. It was much smaller than I expected, and felt much cheaper than my older Invicta. I suppose I should have actually determined how large 40mm was before I ordered. Just to be clear, a 40mm watch face is NOT large for a men's watch. It is, in my opinion, a small to medium size for a modern men's watch (it actually looked better on my wife's small wrist). As a result, it does NOT stand out, does NOT look impressive, and does NOT make the impact I needed it to make. If you are looking for a two-tone watch that is really going to "POP" and grab attention, keep shopping. This doesn't even come close. In fact, this would have been the smallest watch in my watch collection (and I have several "medium-sized" watches). Furthermore, there are images of the watch that demonstrate a nice texture in the white portion of the dial. This texture is not very noticeable in person, and does NOT look intricate. It looks cheap. Yeah, it was only seventy-five dollars, but I think I can do better. I am thinking of exchanging it for a Bulova or Michael Kors that are similar in appearance, but larger and more expensive. I probably won't buy another Invicta. I think they have lowered their quality significantly over the years.

I rarely write reviews on products I receive but thought that it would be only right to share my satisfaction with this paticular item. First and foremost the delivery process was smooth and arrived on time. Secondly... this time piece is handsome and very well constructed. It stands out and compliments my outfits. Whether it be a suit or casual wear, this time piece looks awesome. I definitely would recommend buying this watch.

I bought it as a gift to my cousin. When i open it, it is really very disappointing. It is a nice look watch, but you get what you paid for. The metal strap and the face looks bulk compared with the size the watch. And for some reason, the SS strap look dirty even after wipe it several times.

I have only worn this watch for about a week but it keeps perfect time and has been admired by many of my customers, very good watch for the price. In sizeing the band which was easy after I purchased the pin removal tool is my only complaint Invicta should include the tool with the watch or at least inform the purchaser that it's required. The tool is cheap enough to just add it to the price of the watch , Great buy anyway

> January 7, 2013
It is a solid watch and it looks amazing. I have tested the cronometer features and they are really functional, even for a mechanic wrist watch. It is not as heavy as I thought so I feel confortable with it. I recommend it 100%

I own at least 30 Invictas and love most of them. However, their current rage for their most attractive styles is to make BIG watches, 46-50 mil and above. I wanted something in the 42-43 mil range which is how this is advertised. I also liked the fact that the movement was apparently the Myiota movement I have in several of my Invicta automatics. Excellent durable movement. THIS WATCH IS NOT 43 MIL IT IS 40 (I already own one in 40 mil with a nicer dial) AND IT DOES NOT HAVE A MYIOTA MOVEMENT. Sent it back disappointed. By the way, I do own a 43 mil Invicta in brown with a Myiota movement so I know they make or at least made them. I'm growing wary of the new Invictas -- not just size wise -- they are looking somewhat cheaper in quality to me these days.

Skagen Titanium Grey Multifunction Watch

Positive Review:

> January 30, 2013
I really like this watch. I waited to write the review because several reviews mentioned that the face broke or cracked. I haven't had the entire face crack like anyone else mentioned. I've been wearing the watch regularly and haven't been cautious, just worn in my everyday life. There is a very slight chip on the edge but it's not noticeable unless you really look for it. Great watch overall and I have received several compliments on it. The number are small but if you have average eyesight you will be fine. My only complaint is the brushed steel on hte outside edge that joins the band gets noticeable marks. The watch is also very light, which I like but that's not for everybody.

Negative Review:

> January 26, 2013
I love Skagen watches. You hardly know you're wearing one. Thin Lightweight. Excellent time keeping. I wanted one that had both day and date. This one seemed to fill the bill. However, for all the things this watch does well and all the features it has, there is one thing it does POORLY, and it's the most important thing...tell you the time!

I want to be able to glance at my watch and know the time immediately. Not with this watch. It's not easy to locate the hands! The picture gives a hint of this. How long did it take you to see that it reads 10:10? It will take you even longer in person.

One star may seem harsh, but if a watch makes it difficult to tell time, does it matter how good it looks or what features it has?

This is my favorite watch! I've owned three of them over the past 5 years. They are so nice looking when they are new, but the rubber bands quickly get dirty looking. The dark purple and black colors are best because they don't look so "dirty". I love the white and the light blue, but after a month they get gray and just nasty looking. Two of mine have broken seals and they fog up and fill up with water if I swim or wear them in the shower. They fit my wrist really well and I honestly put them through alot of abuse so I'm not too upset about the broken seals. I love them for 40$, if they were 100$ I'd be more upset over the seals.

Casio-GW500A-1V G-Shock Watch

Casio GW500A-1V G-Shock Atomic Solar Watch

Positive Review:

> January 30, 2013
If you are not familiar with the G Shock line of watches, there simply is no tougher watch in the world for the money. If you are hard on watches, this is the watch line for you. The recessed crystal is hard to scratch and the watch will take lots of abuse.

On top of the usual G-Shock featured toughness, this model has some nice feature design qualities. In the past I owned Casio watches with metallic-colored plastic. The silver wore off and left the watch looking cheap and ugly. Casio fixed that here with a stainless steel bezel. The display is a good size. The time and date are easily visible. I love the auto backlight. It turns on in low light situations when the watch is tipped toward your face to check the time; smart and functional. With the rechargeable battery that runs on light, there's no need to buy a battery for many years to come. Another smart feature is the atomic clock accuracy. Watches need to compete with the accuracy of cell phones these days and this watch does that by setting itself to the correct time every day using the radio signal from Ft. Collins.

If you want a tough digital watch that always has the correct time, is easy to read and will go many years before needing a new battery, it's hard to beat this G-Shock atomic solar watch.

Negative Review:

> January 23, 2013
My son really love this watch and wear it all the time. The problem is that during the winter the watch does not get enough sun light and sometimes lost all power. Even after we charge to medium it will be out of power in a few hours. I took it out to the full sun for a whole day when my son was in school. The power was full in the end. But the next day the power became medium again.

Negative Review:

I've on this for two months now.

PRO: Cheaply priced watch; looks expensive granted it's not all scratched up.
CON: Lots of useless features; clunky feeling crown; and uncomfortable to wear.

Functionality: The time piece works as it should be; Accurate to the second.
The chronograph/minute timer also works but not as useful; there's a 60 sec dial and also a 60 minute dial to measure time elapsed; so if you want to see your best lap, be prepared to count fine lines just to measure the minute and seconds elapsed. Useless.
The dials have glow in the dark material; but it's too thin of a strip to be visible under low lighting. Works only if it's pitch black dark. Again useless feat.
The watch band is uncomfortable; it chafes my wrists (esp the pinky finger side of the wrist.)
Aesthetics: Silver dial is nicely polished; precise and tight second hand. Detailed background; good sized window for a scrawny wrist like mine.
The watch band is easily scratched so I'm sure it's not a stainless steel it's probably some allloy plated with some steel.
The 3 crowns for adjusting time or activating the chronograph feels loose/wiggly once it's unscrewed.

Conclusion: Just an everyday watch; not really a rewarding watch to own because it feels cheap.

The watch is nice and i have worn an ironman for years. The price at $30 was great and the delivery was fast. It seems to be a little slimer design over my present ironman. The only difference than the one i have is: my old is called a triathlene watch and has several alarms on it that i do not need but other than that it is the same and functions well. my other ironmans last 2 to 3 years then there is a band problem with the little band holder breaking but its not worth putting a new band on bc its time then for the battery to go . So at that point i buy a new one.

This is a great watch. Has many of the features I was looking for. The only down fall to my purchase was the life of the battery, which only lasted about a month after my purchase.

> January 27, 2013
Great functionality from the watch, but the plastic strap is very stiff and uncomfortable. I used to have one of these back in the day and that wasn't the case. I suspect that these cheaper ones (~$30) are lemons that went bad on the manufacturing line and are trying to sell cheaply. I would suggest buying the normal priced ones (~$50) and get the comfortable strap.

I did struggle a little bit getting the date and time set up properly but not enough to make it lose a star. i havent gone swimming with it so havent given the water proofing a true test but idk if i want to do that anyway. Also last thing the glowing hands and numbers are amazing they seem to glow for hours wore it to bed once and when i woke up in the middle of the night i could still see what time it was on it with ease.

Cons... The day and date is hard to get set correctly. Seems to never work together and does not change around midnight at the next day, rather flips to the next day sometime around mid day. Example...today is Friday the 4th and it shows Friday the 3rd. Kinda frustrating

Positive Review:

This is my 3rd Invicta watch that I have purchased. I like their quality, and they are not too expensive. If you have never put on an Invicta, they have a good weight to them, and feel really good on your wrist. Since you are paying for something that looks nice, you don't just want looks, without anything behind it, quality wise.
The pictures of this watch, although good quality, do not do it justice, as I have found from the other Invicta watches I have purchased. Invicta watches are stunning, and people will ask you about them when you wear them. A lot of men nowadays, just use their cell phone for the time, but I prefer wearing a good quality watch - at a reasonable price point, and Invicta fits that for me perfectly.
For me, the Invicta watches always need links removed, which is really, really easy to do - with the right tools. I purchased this one:
http://www.amazon.com/SE-JT6218-Watch-Remover-5-Piece/dp/B002Q8AJSM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1359137153&sr=8-2&keywords=watch+link+remover
This is all you need to remove links easily, and in only a few seconds.
If you are on the fence about this watch, or any Invicta, just purchase it. You will love it!

# Invicta-0420 Men Watch

Invicta-0420 Men Watch

Invicta Men's 0420 Pro Diver Automatic Black Dial Titanium Watch

Positive Review:

> January 21, 2013
Before anything else:
*If you want accuracy, buy quartz
*Titanium for better or worse is not steel

This is an automatic watch with a NH35A movement with 24 jewels, made by Seiko under the 4R36 name. It has 21600 vibrations/h and a reserve of at least 41h. The specifications admits a -25 s to +35 s deviation per day at 23C. The watch must resist a magnetic field of 4,800 A/m.
I've been wearing it for a week and so far it gains ~5s during the day (9 to 24h), the key to keep the precision resides in the way it lays during the night. The watch slows depending on how it rest. In my particular case, I noticed that when it lays over the 9 it slows 2s/night. Over the 3 doesn't slow anything. I still have to try over 6, over 12, face up, face down and worn.
Basically the key to keep the accuracy is to compensate the daily gain during the night, but so far I'm achieving +2s/d, which compared with the specifications is pretty good.
As you could see this watch, as every automatic, requires some special cares and if you don't feel like doing this maintenance you will probably end up leaving it in the bottom of a drawer.

The first thing that you will do is try to fit the watch to your wrist, the Invicta people have thought that the average customer would appreciate that the bracelet comes with all the links, instead an average size (ironic mode OFF). If you are not planning to buy the Invicta Watch Sizing Tool, you can always copy me and use a common pliers and a simple clip. In my case I had to remove 3 links and took over 10 min.

Regarding the water-tightness, and taking advantage that I work in a lab, I tested it up to 12 bar on a water chamber for half an hour and the watch doesn't complained at all. Just REMEMBER to never adjust the time when the watch is wet, and to screw down the crown to finger-tight.

About the external appearance, the watch looks exactly how it looks in the pictures. The two tones of the titanium look really good.
In my opinion the big bezel is almost cheesy but still ok. The Cyclops lens is about 2x and the date doesn't fill the frame, that's really too bad.
The transparent back case is delightful, the design of the counterweight is classy and the movement is hypnotic the first days.

The big bezel mentioned before shows a bit of resistance and makes a clinky noise (I wouldn't call that sound). It may be a con if you actually use it for something, but a pro for people like me that barely uses it as it stays on the right place. The bezel is besides incongruous with the materials. Having a titanium case and bracelet, why use a stainless steel bezel with aluminium numbers? If you thought about compatibility with other models and minimizing cost you are probably right!

Last but not least, why to buy the 0420 instead the 8926OB which is exactly the same model but made of steel and 30% cheaper?
The answer: TITANIUM
If you like to feel a heavy weight pulling down your wrist (like most of the users defend) this watch is not for you.
Weight is not a synonym of quality at all. This watch is light as a feather, and the thermal conductivity of titanium will make you (literally) forget that the watch is there.
Since it's a diver's watch you may probably want a material that doesn't corrodes as easily as iron, which is the main element in steel. Titanium include an oxide film that can't corrode or rust
Did you know that every time that you wet a steel watch with salty water you have to clean it deeply with tap water? Unfortunately I'm too lazy for that ;)
Titanium is also about 30 percent stronger than steel but weighs about half as much.
To prove that I'm not a titanium fanboy, I'll also highlight that titanium scratches more easily and visibly. (TIP:you can remove this scratches by using one of those rubber pen eraser)

In a nutshell:
Pros: Price, overall quality, good movement
Cons: Bezel, insufficient cyclops lens, bracelet adjustment

Positive Review:

Great watch at a great price! Bezel is a little tight at first. But it you press down while rotating, it will loosen up. The second hand stops when setting the minute and hour hands for more precise time setting!

> January 18, 2013
I wanted a watch that could be worn with a nice outfit as well as with a formal outfit. This watch fit the profile perfectly. When buying this, be prepared to have links removed because the band is quite large. Anyway, great product and I love it.

Negative Review:

> January 7, 2013
It is a fairly good looking watch, the bezel feels a bit cheap but then again it is not an expensive watch. Upon arrival it would not work fine with the crown screwed all the way in, I had to wear it half way through so I would not become slow. This is obviously not any good, although after about a month's use I was able to screw the crown all the way in and it performed well. I replaced it with a Wenger Men's 72326 Battalion III Diver and do not regret it at all, in fact the Wenger became my everyday watch.
I attempted to use the Invicta after about a month of no use and it was not running, I had to unscrew the crown for it to start working again. I suspect it has a design flaw which makes the mechanism stop when the crown is screwed all the way in. No more Invicta watches for me!

I looked around for some time and at a lot of watches and found this one to be the best looking and price. I am an aviator and the flight computer will come in handy. IT is nice having the computer inside the case of the watch and not on the outer bezel. You use a knob to rotate the bezel. Has a different look but is very nice looking and not too heavy.

I am a buyer from China, this is my second watches, beautiful than the physical picture, walking and is very accurate, the dial is sufficiently large, very atmospheric, the United States of America Amazon price is awesome, do special buy very cost-effective, only less than a bit thick.

This watch looked great but did not work from Day 1. Tried charging for several days in direct sunlight, followed all instructions by Citizen customer service - nothing. Will be returning for warranty repair but have to pay shipping, etc. - awful experience for something I thought would be high quality.

Positive Review:

It was a bit difficult to setup given all of the functions it can perform. I actually had to read the directions! Hint ~ let is charge for a while before setting the time, date, etc.

Once that chore was accomplished, I have been enjoying it ever sense. It keeps perfect time and even though I only wear it a few hours each day, it stays charged and ready to go. The Eco-Drive was the sale point for me, but I continue to like it because it is beautiful and looks great on my arm. I tried several others but they were much too large and bulky.

The strap is real leather and does not look cheap and the overall feel of the watch is firm and substantial.

In my opinion, this watch is worth the extra money it costs over Invicta, and some of the other competing brands.

I purchased this watch from Amazon - fast delivery. I read the extensive reviews regarding this watch before I made my purchase decision. However, I have aging eyes; when I tried it on, the face, functions, dials, etc were too small for me. Additionally, the shiney silver finish looked a little tacky for my taste. This does not look like an expensive watch. I suppose its a good value for the price; I am looking for a larger, more expensive watch. I returned the watch to Amazon for a full refund.

Simply love 'em. I was searching through Submariner a like watches and found also Pro Diver 8926OB. They have very similar look (including most of the details) like Submariner and I personally like it a lot. But it's still Invicta with it's - let's say traditional - details and that's the way it shuld be. No stupid replica. For last few months a quality Seiko NH35A 24-Jewels is put inside and the accuracy after professional adjusting is +1s/day! Fantastic isn't it? And it doesn't need any COSC ("making the price higher") certification.
I made few scratches during wearing and must say now I love the watch even more! My personal relation is deeper thanks to this. I also ordered blue/grey NATO military strap, so I'm looking forward to apply it on for some occasions.
Perhaps the best thing of all is the fact you'll get such fantastic watch for such a low price!
Buy it, I bet you'll love it!

Negative Review:

This watch is very eye catching. It looks like a Rolex Submariner and that is part of the reason I bought it. The other reason I bought it was to try out an automatic watch (which do not use a battery). I have discovered that it is not very effective at keeping the correct time. After around a month of ownership, I noticed it was loosing more and more time each day. Currently, I have a watch winding case whose purpose it is to prevent time loss. When I leave it running all day with the Invicta inside, it looses 5-10 seconds a day. For timekeeping purposes, this is not up to par. Most good automatics should loose that amount in one week.

the clock work well during the first 3 months then started to fail on setting the date and the timer knob not properly stood at zero

when requesting warranty returns for the seller, this means a wrong address and the item was returned again, when returned to amazon, I can not give a new article to replace the defective

they performed 80% refund of the money, of a defective item, which is under warranty and which suffered no damage from abuse

I am very disappointed by the treatment that was given to my request for warranty for this article

# Invicta-9937 Men Watch

Invicta-9937 Men Watch

Invicta Men's 9937 Pro Diver Collection Coin-Edge Swiss Automatic Watch

Positive Review:

> January 11, 2013
This watch was under my Christmas tree this year, and I absolutely love it. I've had a Swiss Army Victorinox stainless quartz diver for about 20 years now, and while I still like and appreciate that watch, this Invicta has already won my heart. I have tried several other watches on in jewelry stores, including the Tag Heuer Aquaracer models, and the quality of this Invicta seems every bit as good, if not better.

The bracelet and clasp are thick and solid. The mirror shine on the center oyster links is stunning. Even the lug attachment band pieces are solid, rather than flimsy stamped pieces. The band is classy and elegant, yet simple.

And the look of the watch itself, of course, is modeled after one of the classiest designs ever, the Submariner. Yes, it is a shameless copy. And why not? What's to improve on a design that has been successful for decades? Well, actually Invicta has made an improvement on the Submariner design, and that is the exhibition back allowing you to see the movement in action.

Automatic watches like this aren't for everybody. This is a true enthusiast's watch. You become attached to it once you put it on and realize it depends on you for it's power. The sweep second hand is mesmerizing after years of seeing the stop-start ticking of a quartz movement. This is not a watch you would wear while doing outside chores. It's too nice for that. It's solid enough to take a beating, no doubt about it, but this watch is at its best when the band is gleaming and scratch-free. It's perfectly suited for your best suit or tux, but works equally well with jeans and a golf shirt.

Mechanically, mine may not even be fully broken in yet, but out of the box it is accurate to about 2 seconds per day so far. That is chronometer-like accuracy.

I honestly don't see how this watch sells for less than $300. I paid almost $50 for a nice quality Hadley Roma stainless oyster band for my Swiss Army watch, and the Invicta band is better. Easily. Hold the watch under bright light for a minute or two, and the lume on the dial and hands lasts for hours. Add the Swiss movement and jewelry-like finish of the case, dial, and bezel, and like I said this watch is a bargain. I am totally enthralled by this watch, proud to wear it, and have become attached to it in a very short time.

Hello,
I come from France and I am a collector of mechanical watch ... I bought this Invicta wrist with lots of Nato, and for 3 weeks, it gave me satisfaction ... Then overnight, dead for no reason, it stopped!
Service Amazon Invicta wonder then contact Invicta France, who sent me home Invicta Watch Holland so I sent my watch to see if they could possibly fix me ....... Briefly, total scam!!!
The Swiss movement is really not reliable on this Invicta is better to buy the version with the Japan movement. A safe bet!

I am very very very disappointed!!!! Each christmas, I purchase myself a gift for working hard all year. And this year I look forward to my Tissot PRC200. Only to receive a watch that is not working. Are you serious WATCH-HUB????? I was certain that you checked my credit card before sending this defective item off to me. So the least you guys could do was check the watch to make sure it works. The second hand ticks, but nothing else moves.

Yes you claim to give full refund or exchange, but the damage has already been done. I would NEVER buy another item from WATCH-HUB!!!

And if I dont get a full refund on ALL cost. I will continue to show how disgruntled I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Invicta Men's 8926 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Watch

Positive Review:

> January 17, 2013
This watch is awesome!! I think this is around my fifth automatic diver from Invicta. The watch is beautiful!!! The things I have noticed are a different movement. It is not the Myota movement anymore, the Myota was 21 jewels and the rotor was plain with just the name etched in it. This movement is 24 jewels and the rotor is engine turned (or "jeweled" ) and it is pretty. The screw down crown threads seem "rough" compared to my old watch, not smooth when tightened. The bezel is smoother than the old and the superluminova is very nice. The band is the same and I wish Invicta would make this a "diver" band with the wetsuit extension. This is the cheapest price I've ever paid and probably the best watch so far

I purchased an Men's model 0083 watch. It is rated for water resistance to 100 meters. After wearing in a swimming pool the watched leaked and the crystal became cloudy. The watch was covered by Invicta warranty. However, to get warranty coverage, I had to pay postage to invicta plus pay return postage of $28.00. Invicta had my watch for a full three months. When I finally got the watch back, it worked fine, as it had when I sent it in. after just over a month I again wore the watch in a swimming pool and it leaked exactly as it had before I sent it in. I contacted Invicta and was told I would need to again pay to ship the watch plus pay another $28.00. for return shipping and they would again need 3 months to repair. I don't believe that my watch was ever repaired or even looked at. Had they done even a basic test they would have found that the watch leaked. In my opinion Invicta's customer service and warranty are only an advertising gimick. I feel that they have no intention of standing behind their products.
